Inspired by the vibrant street food culture of Rimini, Italy, founder Chris Doody first sketched the idea for Piada Italian Street Food on the back of a napkin during his flight home. His vision was to bring the warmth and authenticity of family-run food carts and local markets from Rimini to the U.S. In 2010, that vision became a reality. Today, Piada has grown to 60 locations across the country.
