Team Wyatt Shows Up Strong for Steps for Vets

U.S.VETS Houston put on a great Steps for Vets event this weekend, and Team Wyatt was proud to be part of it. We were honored to win the award for Most Team Members — apparently, we’re really good at showing up.

The morning had a big crowd, great energy, and thankfully some cloud cover at Sam Houston Race Park. The course was packed with runners, walkers, families, pets, and supporters, all backing the important work U.S.VETS Houston does for veterans. Seeing many older veterans show up and finish was especially inspiring.

Big shoutout to our President, Tim, who finished 3rd on Team Wyatt not long after knee replacement surgery! Strong showing — with Top Dog Lola right beside him the whole way.

Also worth noting: one team member’s mom made a mid-race snack run across the street and still made it back on time. Moms are legendary.

Best of all, the event beat its fundraising goal. We were glad to be in it together, support a great cause, and show up strong with Wyatt.
